Texas Home and Garden will be bringing you several informative seminars and workshops. Don’t miss KXII’s Chief Meteorologist, Steve LaNore on our THG Speaker Stage on how to better understand severe storms and tornadoes.  Learn from the experts with the Tarrant County Master Gardeners and get tips on how to reduce your homeowners insurance. Workshops have limited seating, follow on-site instructions for participation guidelines.

Quail Basics: Getting Started

This workshop guides participants through the basics of keeping quail. Carole West of Garden up Green brings her knowledge to Texas Home & Garden Show attendees interested in learning how to keep a quail flock of their very own.

Terrariums

Participants will create their very own mini terrarium under the guidance of the Tarrant County Master Gardeners.

Bird Feeder Build

Under the guidance of Carole West of Garden up Green participants will build their very own bird feeder. Whether you’re a building pro or you’ve never picked up a hammer before, this workshop will be fun for all!

Papercrete

Tarrant County Master Gardeners demonstrate how to make your very own patio containers using Papercrete. Containers will be raffled off at the end of the workshop.
