Harvest Ideas at the Fall Fort Worth Home & Garden Show
The 28th Annual Fort Worth Texas Home & Garden Show provides homeowners with a convenient, one-stop shopping experience and the opportunity to find the perfect company for all your home improvement projects. August 17th-19th in the Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center you’ll find everything you need to get your next home project done!
Learn about the newest gadgets designed to make your home life easier, see the latest products from windows, doors, roofs and floors. The show will also feature beautiful gardens by the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association. We will also have free hands-on gardening workshops (Make Your Own Succulent Dish Garden or Learn how to Propagate Succulents) on Saturday and Sunday from the Tarrant County Master Gardeners. Kids Just Want to Have Fun
The Fort Worth Texas Home & Garden Show even has fun for the kiddos. We have a FREE KidsZone with inflatables so the little ones can work out all their energy. Plus! Usborne Books & More will have a Storytime session at their booth (329) on Saturday & Sunday from 11am, 1pm and 4pm.
And, on Saturday, you won’t want to miss the free puppet show by the Peter Rabbit Players! The Tarrant County Master Gardeners will demonstrate, through the tale of Peter Rabbit, the importance of eating and growing veggies. See the full schedule below.
The Value of Giving Back
Veterans have done so much for us and this country, and the Fort Worth Texas Home & Garden Show has partnered with Veterans Resource Center, which serves veterans in both Dallas and Tarrant Counties, to aid their efforts.
We will have donation bins at the Will Rogers Memorial Center all weekend, and we will reward those who donate with $3 off our general admission price (not to be combined with other discounts).
The Veterans Resource Center are asking for these items: individual cereal boxes, bottled water, sports drinks, backpacks, shirts (all sizes), men’s socks, men’s underwear (all sizes), women’s socks, women’s undergarments (all sizes), rain ponchos, shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, foot powder, small flashlights, batteries, inspect repellent, sunscreen, zippered plastic baggies (small and gallon sizes), gas station gift cards, bus passes, towels, washcloths, laundry detergent (individual pods or containers of powdered detergent). Peter Rabbit Players Puppet Show
Who doesn’t love a puppet show? Bring your little ones to this educational take on the tale “Peter Rabbit’s Misadventures in Farmer McGregor’s Vegetable Garden.” This is a free educational entertaining puppet show by the Tarrant County Master Gardeners that aims to “veg-u-cate” school students on the value of eating vegetables. The show is twice on Saturday only.
Story Time Fun!
Usborne Books & More will have a Storytime session at their booth (329) on Saturday & Sunday from 11am, 1pm and 4pm.
Once again we have something for everyone at our shows, even the kids! Don’t miss the KidsZone where your little ones can play on the inflatables and work out all that energy and explore with the Master Gardeners as budding junior gardeners. With the KidsZone you can bring the little ones along knowing there’s plenty to keep them entertained.
