Juicing is one such fad that’s been adopted by health food stores and downtown shops, luring gym freaks, health nuts, and the rich and famous. But don’t be leery of juicing because of its steep price tag or the latest health confessions from Victoria’s Secret runway models. Juicing comes with five serious health perks that will have you rethinking your Christmas list.




Juicing Gives You Drinkable Vitamins!

Juicing offers the body vitamins, minerals, and enzymes of an armful of vegetables with no-chewing required. This incredible load of nutrients is absorbed by the body in a jiffy, and that means quick results. Unfortunately, juicing concentrates vitamins as well as sugar, so your fruit is better saved for a healthy-as-heck smoothie. If you want to add fruit to your juices, then stick with low sugar fruit or pair your drink with a high fiber snack.

Thanks to it’s liquid form, the body doesn’t have to use precious time and energy digesting and extracting. A glass of juice is full of liquified calories, complex carbs, and vitamins, and they’re used by the body immediately. That usually involves physical, mental, or emotional health — probably all three! When we make health a priority, we’re making the time to take care of ourselves.
